I hatched these guys together last june. there are currently 5 drakes and 4 hens, a few began fighting each other about a week ago. currently the aggressors are separated. my last choice is getting rid of them. should a reintroduce them, and let them fight it out or what? any input would be great.
I will send the pictures tomorrow afternoon. He's not a proven breeder yet (i haven't seen him). He's 7 months old now. I really wish i could keep him. but it i can't, i just want him to go to a good home.

first off never have chicks on pine shavings. put him on paper towel or at least newspapers. he might have eaten some of the shavings causing him to have pasty waste. try that hopefully someone will be more helpful.

How can you tell if a egg is fertile with out incubating it. I don't want to be a doctor tiller and incubate them and then abort the incubation. I want to know if there is a way of cracking the egg open and seeing any evidence of fertility in the yolk. Any help would be great. as i want to give...
