    Breed ID Help?

    I have 6 of these chicks. 2 have the black legs and 4 have yellowish/pink legs. I was hoping they'd be true Ameraucanas but figured they must be Easter eggers (because of the legs) as I've watched them mature. Either way they're cool birds :)

    This bird is about 8 weeks old. It's feathers on the head are starting to sprout out bit i'm not sure if it's just getting longer due to age. Any guesses on sex? I know it may be too early to tell.

    Thanks for the input! Do you know what indicators I can look for on this breed for sexing other than the usual saddle feather/comb indicators?

    My guess is this is a pullet. I think the bird is anywhere from 12-14 weeks old. I've had it for about a month.

    It's legs are certainly not yellow. So is that a good sign of a Marans?

    Here is a profile shot of the bird. I'm just assuming it's a barred rock. I'm so new to the chicken game who knows what breed he/she may be haha. Let me know what you think of the bird from this angle.

    Thanks for the help. I thought he was a hen for the past 2 weeks but then his comb just jumped out and I figured he may be a cockerel. Thanks again.

    Not sure how old. I've had the bird for a few weeks. I got a flock from a lady that was moving. He's definitely young but not quite sure how young.
