    Diarrohea and off her food .. Help!

    Im new to chicken keeping, am not quite sure how you would properly define broody .. When she lays her eggs, I guess she does sit on them a little longer than the others, but this is not for long, maybe 30 minutes at the most, then she gets off them and doesnt return to the coop until bedtime.

    I definitely remember reading an article on the internet about Frizzles being pre-disposed to this problem ... Ive tried to find it for you, but sorry, it seems to have disappeared into thin air.

    Have a look at their nails .. Do they seem too long? What can happen is that they can scoot around and damage them, and sometimes they break them causing them to twist and then lose circulation, and they fall off. They might need trimming (use a dog nail clipper), but be very careful, just...

    Could it be Mareks disease? I know you have taken her to the Vet, but does that Vet specialise in poultry, does he/she know all there is know? If it is Mareks, and I sincerely hope it isnt, she would really be suffering and need to be euthanised.
