    I'm sure this question is already on the site. My chicks go in and out all day long, but when I go out just before dark they are all huddled in the corner. I tried leaving the light on in the coop thinking they didn't like going into a dark coop, that failed also

    Sad news, we lost her. We replaced her with another young one, just cleaned bad pasty butt. Watched her for a little while and she acts behavorly odd, she hides under all the other birds or tries to jump on their backs. Also have not seen her eat or drink. Any suggestions as to either. Thanks

    I'm new to all of this, I new something was odd about her, but what? Today her symptoms really manifested themselves, hopefully we stopped it in time. Question, do I continue with vitamin e for a few days?

    Gave her a dose of vitamin e and selenium tonight. Find out in the morning if it helped.

    I have 2 polish chicks. 1 is doing great, doubled its size since we got them about a month ago. The other one has not grown at all, now that one is acting funny it sleeps most of the day, it eats and drinks fine but it now holds its head like it has a kink in its neck.     Hello, the family is new to chickendom. Started to get fresh eggs, became obsessed with them and ended up with 17 of the little beauties. Have 6 isa browns, 3 silkies, 2 rhode islands, 2 polish, 2 leghorns and 2 australorps.
