    anybody have a good website for the purchase of egg cartons, we have sold eggs for over a year and our return of cartons has been dwindling. Any help appreciated.

    we live in preston county and have 32 girls in our flock. I work at a local farm store and am involved in the spring chick sale every year. Last year we sold over 3200 chicks .Love my job, love my chickens. nice to hear from fellow west Virginians.

    hi, I work at a local farm store and my wife and I have had chickens going on 4 years now, it is some of the best therapy in the world. we come home from a hard days work and they will tell us all about there day and we can tell them about ours and they are the best listeners.

    Can I feed my chickens just oyster shell & cracked corn?

    corn is best fed in winter months for extra energy and fat, a good laying mash or laying pellets are best for your best egg production.

    foaming eyes

    we have a 7 month old hen that has a white foam around the eyes, we treat her with anti-biotics for 3 days and she gets better, 5 days later its back. none of the other 32 birds are showing any signs, any suggestions?
