No...I like it natural. If anything I may put a coating on it...we'll shall see. I'm going to put window boxes for flowers as well. Should be super cute!

oh there are a lot of layers to go yet! We are going to use straw as part of the insulation, a vapor barrier, siding on the outside and plywood on the inside. I am very protective of my girls...there will be NO gaps when im finished!!!

Thanks!!! it's one of the original doors from our home! We bought an old farmhouse a year and a half ago that had all kinds of gems to be used on the coop in the basement. our house was built in the late 1800's :) I thought it would be a nice touch!

The chicks are ready to move to their forever home...however we're very behind due to weather. Looks like we will be building for 3 days straight now with 4 people!! Here's what we have to date with the exception of a few things we've done since these photos. Can't wait to see it all...

yeah that's the one i'm also suspicious of. I don't really know much...but it's the behavior and the comb/waddle seem more prominent.
