The sun is trying to shine this morning. Waiting for 2 chicks to hatch in the incubator. We had 5 hatch last weekend.
I want to put my onion sets outside in the garden this weekend. Have a great day everyone.:):)
It is still very windy this morning. Our baby chicks we hatched in the incubator are doing great. We are still waiting for more to hatch. Crazy Michigan weather.:D
The Silkie rooster is crowing early this morning. Waiting for the neighbors to complain. Suppose to be another nice day before the rains come. I think I will get my clothes line up today and hang some laundry.
Raked the yard, planted some fruit trees. Let the chickens out. Cleaned the house. Now I am ready for bed. Two more days until lock down. We never incubated eggs before, I hope all goes well. Our Silkie is setting on 4 eggs.
We let our chickens out in the yard for the first time since fall yesterday. They loved it. It was to cold and windy today for us to stand there and watch them today. We added more straw to their coop also. Our baby chicks are growing like crazy and very stinky.
Just wanted to say Hi. I am new to this forum. We have 6 chickens, 2 Silkies, 3 Isa Browns and I Silver Laced Wyandotte. I love my chickens, except the Silkie rooster he likes to try and flog me ever chance he gets. I live near Grand Rapids, Michigan.:)
