3/4 of my chickens died, is the other safe to eat?

That's what I'm thinking. Any tips on what to really look for?

3/4 of my chickens died, is the other safe to eat?

Three of my four chickens mysteriously died about ten days ago. I had three roosters and one hen. All that remains is my large white roo. I have a feeling he may have killed the others. Alternatively, could they have died from eating the pumpkin I gave them? Either way, it's been about ten...

Do I have 2 RIR roos? + What breed/sex are my 2 rescue chickens?

I won't be keeping my RIR roosters, even though they're pretty sweet. I'll keep both the rescued birds, then order a few pullets once spring comes. I wish I knew how old the new chickens are, so I could know if/when to look for eggs. Assuming the one is a hen... :)

Thank you. That's really helpful! Now, if I can just get these new babies healthy and comfortable around people. :)

Thanks for the input! I was thinking the cream colored (closest) one in the last pic is a hen because she's really docile and shy. Seems to let the RIRs push her around a little.

I got my first batch of chicks 18 weeks ago. A couple weeks ago a black bear tore through 2 layers of chicken wire and took what I believe to be the only hen I had. I was left with 2 full grown Rhode Island Red bantams. I believe they're both roosters. Their combs are not maxed out like you see...
