The poop looking bit on my duckling's foot (approx 4 weeks) is actually some sort of sore. Looking for advice on how to treat as in the UK we can't get antibiotic creams, as far as I know, but he won't use the foot and always...
The only reason I ask is that you said it was 'developing' and I know from my own experience I have had ducklings that look to be in the early stages when their wing feathers come in, but then turn out to be fine for whatever reason.

Yep, can sympathise there too.... How many do you have? I would pick my favorite two and take them with me, or is that like asking to pick a favourite child :hmm
You will most likely need to change the diet. What are you feeding them currently?
You could try wrapping the wings, and along with a change in diet that should improve things

will you be able to keep any of them, or get something else down the line?
Maybe change their food and water around so the water is on top of the grate? Maybe try it for a few days each way and see which is less messy for you?
