    Emu Egg Wiggling @ Day 42!! Please Help!

    Yes! She’s 2 years old now and likes being around other animals. I had 7 eggs, 3 of them started moving but only one ended up hatching. I made safety holes on three of them but only one hatched with the safety hole. I’m not sure how to add images on here but the IG is @tytheemu

    Cataract in emu

    It turned out to be a kcataract. As long as the other eye is good, she’ll be fine. I’m 80% sure the cause was due to the barbed wire in the pen. The barbed wire might have poked her eye and caused injury to the eye resulting in the cataract. I have since removed all sharp objects from the pen.
