I got my 16 chicks on 3/1. I lost one within the first few hours as she was weak from the get go. I lost another Saturday night. I went got electrolytes yesterday as that was the suggestion from fellow chicken people. I got up this morning and 2 more were gone! I have them at the suggested 95...
Got the electrolytes, everyone seems ok. Funny i can already pick out the boss of the group. Think im going to give them all old lady names....any suggestions?
Everyone is super active, eating & drinking. There is one RIR that is questionable, but hopefully when I get back this afternoon with the electrolytes she will perk up.

Wow, thank you all! A lot of info! Yes we have red-tail hawks and turkey buzzards, coyote, fox and snakes. I think a covered run is a good idea, just need to do it cost effectivly.
