I'm first time chicken owner and have decided to give my broody silkie some fertile eggs to sit on.
It day 12 and I would love some advice on whether the eggs are viable.

Thank you for replying. Yes, we do need to get a vet prescription for antibiotics however only a few vets know about poultry in my area. The poultry store recommended this antibiotic instead of going to the vet

I've been given an antibiotic to treat my 5 hens and im so confused with the recommended dosage.
The bottle states to medicate at the rate of 5g per 1l of water however also suggests that 100ml of prepared solution will treat 4 large birds.

Yes, active, eating/ drinking well. Just seems a bit pale. Could this be die to the breed and the feathers coming in or maybe from the vit e treatment? Thanks for replying

I posted pictures of my buff Orpington on another forum looking for advice regarding sex however I have had a few people comment saying she looks ill.

When she was about a week old she had wry neck and ive been treating it. For the past 2 weeks she has been doing really well. What do you think the issue is? This now has me really worried :(
