    It's day 28 for me. I started at night ( I'd picked them up from a friend after work) so will they start to hatch at night? I had two eggs go out today. One never developed beyond a duck the size of a quarter. :( The other was almost full grown, no movement for a few days. Down to 5 lovely eggs...

    Well, I checked them a we bit ago, out of curiosity. Egg 4 had black spots all through, so I took it out. And another eggs had stopped forming, but I left it in just in case, well, afraid it didn't make it either. I monitored that ones movement for a few days, there was always No movement. So...

    4 Days Till Hatch Day

    Any tips or ideas on making them the best living conditions? Should they stay inside for 6 weeks or more...or less? I am really excited about this! My oldest daughter (4) is beyond excite4d, past anxious and now annoyed that our ducklings have not hatched yet :)

    So, the egg I thought wasn't going to make it, didn't. :( It ended up just being a round-ish blob. I candled a couple times, it just didn't continue developing. BUT, we do have 7 that are 6 days away from hatch day!!!!!!!!! My girls and I are super excited <3
