    These were the bearings, with the lip flush to the surface of the board: Here is the new lift, already installed (so a little difficult to see the plates, but they are 4" angle plates)

    Both of mine split at that pivot point, but they were helped along by the pockets I drilled for bearings. The new lever is 2x6, no bearings, with mending plates all around. 🤞

    I put this on the coop page, but I'll also note here that the wheel lifts are really nicely balanced, but the 2x4s for them are not strong enough. I'm going to try 2x6s with metal mending plates, but if that doesn't work I'll go with an all metal kit (maybe this one)

    This is with Fusion 360. I'm no drafter so I pretty much only put on the dimensions I knew I needed for cutting.

    This was my first woodworking project in Fusion360, so the plan drawings are probably pretty rough. But they were very helpful when planning my cuts and assembly.
