Probably strong enough, but if they were longer it would make them easier to lever up.
Weak points in wheel assemblies is usually the pivot points, hard to get them tight so shafts and bushings stay in line.
Both of mine split at that pivot point, but they were helped along by the pockets I drilled for bearings. The new lever is 2x6, no bearings, with mending plates all around.
