So, It may be 4 weeks or so before I get my new barn coop. It won't be warm enough to use BJ 75 until probably late March. Do you think I could use linoleum to get my chickens in sooner, then clean it all out and do the black jack later when it warms up?
Awesome, I may be looking at that over cheap linoleum, or do Black Jack 57 first to waterproof, then a piece of linoleum on top to be able to pull outside and scrub. Hmmm... choices...
Not to hijack you post, but I'm building coop as well and thinking of floor options... is this Black Jack 57 washable? Like scrubbable with soap and water? Thanks!
SChools shutting down for a 3 week minimum here in Indiana. Kids are stoked! Good thing we live in the country, a 3 week staycation isn't so daunting. Poor city kids, though... We're all healthy.. hope this flattens the curve! wash wash wash !! Soap is your BFF!
I think it's helping to do two doses, that's all I can fit in on work days. A lot less swelling around her eyes and she's trying to open them a bit more and acting a little perkier! Thanks for the advice!
Here's my girl, Princess Poppy. This is her 3rd bout and Terramycin eye ointment wasn't doing the trick. So we're on day 4 of Tylan 50 once a day...she is improving, though!
Oh, hello, thanks! I'm giving her the injectible as an oral and my chicken guru friend said that's fine to put in the water as well. But since I'm just treating one hen I just do the oral.
But I will get some to keep on hand since all the stores are out of it when you need it!
Any...
Hello, I know this thread is a bit old, but I am looking for Tylan 50 directions, too, and stumbled on your post. My hen looks much the same but not quite a swollen. I started Tylan Sunday but only 1 dose a day. On here it seems I should be doing it way more often. 2 is the most I can do...
I know the little biting midges are bad around here and can kill chickens, they crawl in their nostrils and suffocate them. It would be more likely to happen during the day though, I would think, they don't like darkness so they chickens will stay hidden during the day. Has he noticed this...
I used a few to make waterproof seat covers for some free chairs I was given. I cut a board to fit and stapled the bags over. No padding in case they leaked but so far so good. I can replace them when they get too worn and faded. I like some of the other ideas above, too!
