    Chickens won't go in coop at night!!!

    My 5 hens where going in the coop at night for months and now they wont go in at night, but rather sleep on the ramp.... What is going on? LOL i have a light in the coop and I tried turning it off for a night and still nothing then I put it back on and still nothing its crazy..any help would be...

    I hope she will kick out the golf balls after she starts sitting on the eggs, I feel bad that we took 6 eggs to put in the incubator but I didnt know if she would be broody or not so lets hope she does!!

    Ok my blue Swedish has been laying a egg a day in a nest for about 6 days then she didn't today so my question is she skipping a day in building her clutch, I took the first 5 and put golf balls in so I have 5 in the incubator and there is one "real" egg in the nest?

    yes the pool has water, but all the eggs we get in the coop are brown and this one was white or cream colored

    oh and we found a cream colored egg by the ducks pool do you think it would be a duck egg and should i leave it there for her to sit on?

    yes we have the chickens in a separate pen now and the ducks cant get to them, so do you think they will start to lay again?

    we have 5 hens and 2 ducks a male and a female and our male duck is chasing our hens and pinning them down so we have cooped up the hens and they stopped laying....... ideas please help us Thank you
