my new pullets are eating their eggs

To discourage hens from eating eggs, you can put little curtains on the nest boxes, so the culprit won't see the other bird's eggs and eat them. You could also put golf balls in the nest. When the bird tries to peck it, and finds that it can't be eaten, it will be less likely to eat eggs...

    Egg Eating

I have been finding broken eggs... partially eaten in my nesting boxes. I have tried everything... putting curtains on the boxes, having decoy eggs, and giving them oyster shells. I have also cleaned up the eggs and put new shavings over the area each time. What can I do?

    Newbie to showing Questions

Can you show older hens, or just pullets? Does showing make many hens stressed? What is the chance of your hen getting sick while showing? Is there any other info that I should know about showing? Thanks!!
