I have 2 Bantam and a Black sexlink brooding and as the chicks crack the shell the hens are eating them? they have their own nesting box away from stress fresh food and water, why would all of them be doing that? I have taken all the eggs and candled light them and they are very full of chicks...

she will only stand for a few sec then she sets down, her nails had dried feed under them I cleaned them up then noticed this one is straight and pinkish red, and she screamed when I touched it. what can I do to help her?
Thank you for the info, I didn't know about the gene. I did candle them when I took them out of the turner and most had full chicks inside. I'll give them till Wednesday before I throw them out. I'm not sure I want to replace her now. If it's going to be this hard each time to hatch out chicks.
I had an bad Incubator, I had 32 Japanese hatching eggs in for about 5 days then I was able to move them into a new incubator, my question is March 4th was the 21st day and there is no peeps, cracks, movement nothing!!! is there still ANY hope of babies??? <y profile pic is of my Japanese...
Ok I just went over a took some pics but then started checking him for sores and he has a tiny cut on his neck, looks like it just tore the skin there is no blood or anything, and it was clean. he is eating and drinking so it may just hurt when he moves it. thank u for responding to my distress...
I'm sorry But it's not my duck it was my buff orpington , I will get pic and load in just a couple minutes, I would take him back and exchange him but I'm scared they would let him die. they don't take good care of their animals they sell.
