I will have to look up that book. Right now she gets up at 7 and then naps at 9 and again in the afternoon and bath at 8 then bed right after. She doesnt usually start showing she is tired till around 8. So now she will go down on her own but she will wake up at 2am or so and wont lay back...

newfoundland- I did exactly as you said. Laid her down and walked away. It took 2 hours for her to go back to bed in her crib but she did. I hope this does not take to many more nights. It was hard listening to her cry and then run away from me when I walked in to lay her back down...

Her bath is at 8 then she gets a bottle and down for bed. It has been the same since she was born. When she was around 3 months old she would sleep all night without a problem. Then around 5 months or so she started this and it has been gradually getting worse. I have just been doing the same...

Her doctor did check because of my family history of allergies. They are fine and she sleeps with her mouth open all night. That's why we think insomnia. But we just cant get her to sleep in her crib and are not really big on the cry it out method.

That is true for people that live near the water here. I do not live on the water though so a gator could not live in my neightborhood or have a way into my back yead. It is all fenced in. Thank you
