    Update on Uno!! She is doing much better. Just removed the scab to make sure there was no infection, but was already healing nicely. Cleaned her up real nice and wrapped it for a day. The scab was just some kind of scratch or injury she got and may have picked at. Not going to mess with...

    I made a vet appointment but it's not till Monday... They said I could try to see if it would drain cuz that is what they are going to do or just use a syringe. I would try but she don't like to be messed with so I am afraid to hurt her or make it worse.

    Thank you chickens really. Yes that's it. Starts there and goes to the front side of her leg in that picture. Sore spot on the back side where your arrow is.

    I love how messy they are I can't help but laugh at them. I'm lucky tho we have a lot of fresh water running where I live...as long as it's not froze.

    I'm not sure if she is laying or not. I have 16 girls and I get between 11-14 eggs a day. Can't be sure whose eggs are whose because they all share 3 nests. I did get one really small egg last week barely bigger than a quarter.

    I got some. Not the best she was not cooperating. The lump is soft and moves around. The dark spot is where she is getting a scab. I think she is picking at it.

    The one thing I was dreading. Should I try draining it or would I do more harm than good?

    No drainage. Up until 2 days ago it had feathers.
