My pretty lady has a not so pretty lady lump...

Is that it, where I have the red arrow pointing?

Thank you chickens really. Yes that's it. Starts there and goes to the front side of her leg in that picture. Sore spot on the back side where your arrow is.
Was not my picture although I think she has a tumour and possibly cancer so a Vet should biopsy the lump or leave her and Cull once she starts suffering?...Big Hugs..It's sad but she is happy today..:hugs
Best wishes :frow

This is very curious to me. I agree a vet is the best option, if possible.

In the meantime, I'm wondering if there would be any way to cover it so she couldn't mess with it. Ducks are so difficult in this regard, but maybe some vet wrap, wrapped like with angel wing, just leave the wing free instead of wrapped up? Just to see if it would possibly heal? If that would work on her, then maybe you could treat it with some Neosporin or something prior to wrapping.

I'm not sure how to treat it, just trying to brainstorm ideas....

Wrap her in a towel lay her on her side and look closely at this place. Does it feel like there is fluid in it? You might try and pick off the scab maybe let her soak in some warm Epsom salt water[ don't let her drink it it's also a laxative] That may help loosen the scab and Do yo have colorless iodine? let her soak then apply the colorless iodine if infection this may help bring it to the surface so when you pull off the scab it will drain easier. Pus in Poultry isn't runny it's thick but there maybe runny liquid in there. I don't think I'd let her get into a pond right now because of bacteria especially if you decide to open it yourself. If you decide to open after ward use sterile wound dressing then vet wrap to keep her from messing with the place.
I've treated bumble foot on 2 chicken hens and I wasn't sure I could but I knew the infection would spread if I didn't so I got up my nerve and treated both hens by soaking in warm Epsom salt water and using the colorless iodine then after a few days the bumble[scab] was easy to peel off and I could get out the pus inside. They both healed pretty quick after. It's amazing what we can do when we haven't an alternative.
