Thanks I will try it and see, they don't seem to lay that early on in the morning it is usually 1 egg in teh morning and the other 3-4 sometime around 3pm give or take. I don't mind them being lazy and sleeping in just want to collect the eggs in one spot. Thanks again

I don't think so it just shows them where they should be laying.

HI, I about 1/2 of our 16 Buff Oph's are laying now but of the 5-6 eggs we are getting each day, 2 are nicely left in the laying boxes and 1 is on the floor near teh coop door, another on the highest perch/poop board and the rest are found outside in the run. I have 5 boxes for 16 chickens so...

Hmm the directions with the bator had said 99.5 but I guess that is just our inexpereince. I will have the wife candle them and see if anything is going on movement wise. Should I have her do it now or wait til a few more days?

Yes and 12 of the 16 looked like the pictures we found (on this board) and 4 did not. We had ordered 12 and were given 16.
