    I love my buffs. They are not always loud. Mine get excited when I am outside and see me or they alert when someone is here or something is out of the ordinary. The females are not loud unless they have goslings. My gander Boris is loud especially during the breeding season.

    My geese always started the spring after they hatched. Right about 1 year of age.

    Well after my 2 girls worked together to hatch 16 goslings I sold all but 5. Now one of the girls is laying again. Don't know if this because she did not sit the whole time or because the other female claimed the babies. We shall see what this brings.
