    So today I found my lavender silkie rooster dead, sad day, but it was weird, the other silkie I had died ofthe same thing, a neck twisted backwards. I'm not quite sure what's going on, but I'm wonderin I theirs a disease that only affects silkies? Also, if not, why would he die like that?

    well i have a nice little nesting box i made the,. its elevated off the ground and really nice but i havn't seen the go in yet.. hmm. maybe they just need a really dark spot.

    i don't know, i mean i often look but can't find any, when i leave them up all day i still can't find any... maybe ill take one more look! i found a secret nest with like 20 eggs before, so maybe its worth a shot. ... hmm.

    thanks for the support, i feel really guilty every time i feed commercial gmo commercial feed to the chickens... i didn't mention wheat because i think oats are overrall healthier. it may take a while to discover the appropriate amounts but i think it can be done.

    hey guys, so whats the probability that a dizease has gotten into the flock and kept my chickens from laying? i havn't had eggs for about half a year i believe. im starting to get angry. they look healthy, but i don't know what else it could be. it would just kill me to have to get rid of them.

    okay guys, iv kept them in about a week, i hate to keep them locked up but i think it will work thanks guys, ill let you know how it goes when i let them out again.

    well iv had them for about half a year now, and theyve been doing it occasionally, but usually the roost, and the whole coop is open wire except for the roof. also its the highest in thhe pecking order. the "queens", they cause the main problem, i guess ill just have to lock them away for a week.
