We actually have 9 chickens. A New Hampshire, two leg horns, two partridge Plymouths, two red sex links, a bantam Cochin, and a possible Delaware. I love the variety.

I Got it!!! A Delaware Chicken! **** just saw your post.. lol But the description fits :( Yellow Legs, Coloring!! Ahhhh Chickens!! So many of you!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delaware_(chicken) [/quote I'm thinking Delaware too now. The Sussex, Delaware, and columbian Wyandotte do all...

S So it's def not a buff Orpington then. Maybe some eggs got mixed at the hatchery. Sussex or Delaware weren't at tractor supply.... Hope she's cold weather hardy. Her face is alot different than my other chickens... It's the eyes.

This is Jefferson. Got in April from tractor supply bin labeled "bantam".... Does have feathered feet so I'm guessing Cochin and not sure if roo or hen. But super cute!

Daylight picture.... Roo or hen? Got as a chick in April labeled red New Hampshire. The problem I'm finding is the New Hampshire hens also have good size red combs and waffles.

Daylight picture.... What breed? Got as a chick in April from a bin labeled "buff Orpington"... Think the bin was mislabeled.

Just an idea for anyone w little chicks. I made my brooding area w old farm windows. We loved it because we had a clear view of them and could watch them interact. Plus it helped get them comfortable w out dog and pig. :)

I looked up light Sussex and she does kinda look like that..... Just weird cuz that wasn't even a tractor supply breed option. Haha.

Jefferson taking a piggy back ride on max again. It's weird but when our pig lays down all the chickens love to roost on him.
