When I make beer, I need to hold at low Somer for a half hour, then hold boil for an hour. Not counting heat up time. This translate to about two hours of burn time with my burner. I will not keep relighting every twenty minutes. Not all burners have thesafety, but those sold in the fryer kits seem to. There are different styles of safety. Mine required removing a few small parts but leaving certain seals in so it didn't leak (it was trial and error on my part). Now it works as I intended.
I was going to try that. I saw it on the coop/run forum. Looks like a great idea, and recycling is always a good thing. my ducks are using an old dog house right now.

not in defense of the government, which i hate, but since there's so many stupid people now days, (maybe the government breeds them on purpose) they have to take care of them, just like we do our animals
I did that to my Dad's too...and had had a similar punishment 15 years here..... Thanks for the support. Other than the lady I'm in contact with at the quit help thing, and my son (warning him not to push his luck with me since I know my temper will be worse than normal), this is the first I've said about trying again. It seems like whenever I try and fail I get ripped a new one by family, some of which have quit smoking for various reasons. (Mom was her first try, same with the one aunt, but it took my Dad 20+ yrs of trying.) Like I've told the in-laws, I hate the smell and taste of cigs, but I can't seem to kick them. Looks like my New hampshire boys, my girls have much smaller combs, and only tiny wattles. I got mine mid April. people who have common sense anymore are far and few between, and one of my pet peeves,
