    Guinea Hen/Chicken Crosses (Apparently it is possible)

    My rooster is really into one of our guinea hens. Like, they are always together. He sits on her. She picks things off his waddle. ...They even have some romance. I read online that they can actual crossbreed. So I wanted to hatch some of her eggs...anyone have an idea of the gestation period?

    How many guinea fowl can I get?

    My coop is 14x14 feet. Currently it houses a rooster, two hens, and four baby chicks. Tomorrow is a chicken show and my family wants to get more guinea fowl . How many guineas can I get without overcrowding the coop? The guineas will be released in a week to free range with our other birds.

    I've had Red Sex Links on several different occasions. They are wonderful layers-only had two go broody ever-and are quite friendly.

    That is one fabulous looking hen! She looks (breed-wise) like this fighting cock I adopted from the SPCA several years ago (we rescued him from a ring he was apparently made to fight in).
