    Please help with chicken injury

Thank you so much I cleaned it up and sprayed Vetericyn on it. It had already stopped bleeding. But I still can not find anything she may have hit or caught it on! So strange! I’m just thankful she seemed herself. Gosh I don’t do well with injuries. 😂😩

    Please help with chicken injury

I have no idea what happened. I just came out and saw her. It isn’t bleeding at all now. I took her out and sprayed Vetericyn on her. She doesn’t really act any different that I notice. Thank you I’ll keep watching her. 😩

    Pecking order

She got her little egg out but outside the nesting boxes in the floor of the coop. Also they are 5 months old just a correction if that even matters. Seem calm now I put in a few more things of water and frozen watermelon rind to keep them busy in this hot day. Thanks!

    Pecking order

Ok I’m new to chicken keeping, my first flock. They are 4 months old just started laying about 3 weeks ago. Lately I noticed 2 of our Cream Legbar’ combs a bit bloody and pecked at. I have watched lately and notice one of our Rhode Island Reds as the main culprit. They are all hens, 11 of...

Transition from Brooder to Coop Run

Thank you! That is definitely helpful! Now, once we move them to coop, how many days should they be in before allowing them access to run? Also should “run time” be in increments until they are comfortable?
