Hello- We had a call duck hatch Tuesday. He eats and drinks well. His problem is that he can't seem to stay upright. When he does end up on his back he can't turn himself back over. What do you guys think I need to do for him? Poor little guy just lays there until we help him out.

I have actually bought from a couple different people on ebay with not much luck. I will be candling my first group that I have confidence with (look like great eggs) and they are from duckhousedogs.

I ended up with 4 whites, 2 black, 1 black splash, 1 blue splash, 1 buff and 1 lavender.

Oh I feel your pain! Mine are in the basement. I guess if nothing else I get plenty of exercise going back and forth!

Well I broke down and helped him. He had made no progress as of last night. I gave him an external pip and eventually helped him all the way thru. Today we have beautiful Welsh Harlequin that is doing perfect!

I went put my duck eggs in lock down on day 25. (last night) I candled them on the way into the hatcher and one had already internally pipped. How long from internal pip to external pip can they go without an external pip?
