I gave up trying to find over sized silkies.
I started to breed large silkies 1.5 years ago. I only need ONE fiture from them: broodiness. I have many different breeds but silkies by far are the best "brooders".

Anybody has one or two years old standard cochin healthy hen which goes broody often? I would love to buy it. Color is not important.
I also would like to buy a few standard cochin pullets. Please reply because this year this trip could be difficult for us.

Does special CV it make a difference? I also use ACV but regular one. But she does not want to drink now. Should I put water with ACV through syringe? If so , how much?

I just read about that I have to sprinkle it to wood shavings and on chickens. I've read that I shoud have musk. What about chickens - they are not going to have musks for their lungs. OR I do not understand the whole concept.

I was using DLM only in winter. Now I learned that I could use DLM all year around with DE. But DE is hurmfull for lung as asbestos as I understand.
It said that DE harmfull for humans' lung. Question: why DE is not harmful for chickens' lung?
