My Wyandottes are the only ones that molt and certainly not in July in South Texas. Could the egg thing be from molting and would molting make her just wanna be alone?

I saw her drinking this morning before I left. I gave her calcium. I've asked my husband to give her 1ml of Doxyvet now and I'll do it again at 5:30 and over night. I found 200mg divided dose 1st day followed by 100mg day. Im really flying blind
