Soft to Hard Crop overnight

If you're able to make a wet mash for her or even some scrambled eggs, something soft like that should pass through the crop more easily. Maybe feed her just a little at a time to make sure nothing is getting backed up in there again.

Don't feel bad about potentially making the problem worse (I'm not convinced you have, but either way). They can't tell us what's wrong so we have to use our best judgement, which isn't always right, but it's all we can do. The fact that she looks bright eyed and alert despite feeling yucky makes me think she'll be just fine, just keep at it and follow any advice the educators give you. :hugs :hugs :hugs
Another day. Yesterday after 3 teaspoons of coconut oil with a tad of yogurt so she'll eat it the "ball" is higher now and was a tad able to massage it. Lots of poop last night & yes some red tinge. Hard & high again this morning. Just gave more coconut oil/yogurt. It's 37 this morning but she's in the shed and readily eats it. I'll do a scrambled egg at lunch. I'm scared to put her back out with that hard lump. I did put grit & calcium in the cage yesterday. I'm at a loss here

@Ponypoor you recently dealt with some crop issues and had to do surgery, correct? What do you think about this situation?
No. Her like breed sister had one but couldn't breathe so something else going on too. Hers became sour. For $800 the vet put her in an O2 cage for half a day gave us an antibiotic & a liquid med to make her empty the crop. I have given this one the med to empty the crop. Maybe why she's pooping a lot. The crop is A LOT less full but she now has a small hard ball at the top area that won't pass. I cannot afford a vet with my husband's passing. I'm waiting for a SSA widowship hearing in March

Also that chicken has CRD but is still around.

Ya know what. Went back out to check on her. It's mushy again, it's small and at the top area so reading all the comments I thought maybe that's normal. I put her outside & she ran to her sisters and started scratching & eating. I did give her the yeast med & will do 7 days if she stays good. Maybe I solved it the 2nd night when she pooped A LOT?
I'll watch her close today but maybe she know best?
