    I have a few crele split to isabel orpingtons, obviously I can breed these together to get more but if I wanted to add some diversity from the existing birds I have currently what colour would I use? I have black split to Lavenders, Lavenders, Gold and silver laced, and black mottled?

    I've been raising chicks since I began with geese in 1974 when I was 10, progressed to parakeets, then chickens, I still have almost 100 chickens now.

    I have lavender orpington and black split orpington roos, and I have some silver and gold laced ladies, i know the lacing is recessive, but what colour would my chicks be if I put these girls with these roos? Can anyone enlighten me?

    I have 2 in it that I trust one says 100 and the digital fluctuates from 99.5 to 100 during its heat cool cycle
