    Hi. we candle our eggs at night (for a few seconds) because its dark or during the day in a very dark spot. We saw a chick moving in the egg one night (day 16) so that was exciting but we're not by far profesionals lol good luck with your chicks :)

    Muddy pen problems

    I too would like to see pics. We have 3 ducks and 8 chooks and there isnt one piece of grass left in their pen. I am using a kids plastic pool for ducks but so hard to keep it clean. The pen gets quite muddy also. They free range of an afternoon.
