    Our lady is doing much better :-) mixed some Apple cider vinegar in her water for a few days and that seemed to break up the mucus. Also did the Neosporin for get eyes that are completely better...nothing running out. now she is getting electrolytes in her water and a higher protein food. Thank...

    Thank you. Would the Neosporin hurt her? She hasn't had any sneezing or coughing. I heard that a little Apple cider vinegar would help?

    They are about 1 year old. Her breathing sounds like there is phlegm in her throat and there is no drainage from her nose and no swelling. The drainage from her eye is thicker but clear.

    I believe one is a pearl white leghorn and I'm not sure of the others. One is black and white speckled and one is red another is light brown and another is brown and white. Our first chickens...the "store" special. However they have been good egg layers so far :-)

    Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. We are on Oklahoma with a few backyard chicks. Started out with 9 babies raised them and they started laying then a coyote came and now we are down to 5 adults and 5 chicks. My 2 year old just loves them and so do we! We are learning as we go and loving it!:)
