    We change the bedding every week in the coop and they have a large run. But they do have one muddy corner in their run that they always dump their water in and play in and walk through. Maybe that isnt great for them?

    Thanks cottontail farm. We'll do that!! Also,centrarchid if you have any ideas how to prevent it I'd love to hear them. We have read about bumblefoot now and thought maybe the roosts were a little too high, so we built a lower shelf. We also are now making sure to keep lots of fluffy bedding...

    My sweet little Cochin appears to have bumble Foot, just wanting to get a third party opinion if that's what it looks like, or if it Roost sores. One foot it looks like she has three scabs and on the other foot just one. I've started to treat it with TricideNeo powder soaks. Thanks in advance.

    They all are 6 months old, and all seem to get along pretty well except for when it comes to the nesting boxes, so I don't see to much of a pecking order. I have 8 boxes and 11 hens but she'll kick them out from any box.
