    Price of Broiler feed....

    $20 a bag here for certified organic from our local mill. However, they're growing like mad on it so I've been cutting it with 1/3 long bearded oats, which were grown on our farm so were basically free.

    Has anyone ordered from Murray McMurray this year?

    I ordered 2 BO, 2 red stars and 25 meaties. They sent 26 meaties. They came in on a Sunday which worked out well for me. All the chicks were healthy and active upon arrival and still are, going on 3 weeks. I will definitely order from them again! I also used the grow gel and they devoured it!

    Murray McMurray Cornish Roasters- should I withhold feed?

    I like the idea of putting the food and water on opposite ends of the pen. The cornish roasters are supposed to take about two weeks longer than regular cornish x. I think they're just a slower growing strain of cornish x. We're taking away the food for 8-10 hours at night right now.
