Our Auracana (sp) rooster is aweful! He will chase any male that walks into the backyard. He doesn't go after me much, but he'll get the dogs. The only thing that comes to mind for mine is elimination! Hope you find some answers!
This began yesterday. Her tail was down. So, we came in and did research on it. Thought she might be egg bound. Put her in a warm bath for 30 minutes. Checked her vent and all looked okay. Discovered her tail looking like the other hens had been pecking at her. Put some rooster booster on it...

I could really use some advice on this...I have the dog crate she is in out in the run with the other girls. She is going crazy like she wants out. Do I leave her or go ahead and put her back with the others? She won't keep water clean either...keeps poopin in it!

Sounds like you are doing a fantastic job! I have a friend across the street that has chickens and would love to have her husbands advice at times, but she and I have had a falling out. Peeps think I'm crazy, so I so know what you mean about not really being able to share! Keep up the good work!
Charline...ours are out too and we live north of you in Fort Worth. I've had to set some boards up on west side of the run to keep the sun off of them, but other than that, they have done great.
