Thanks acre4me, that isnt too far from me, and I had never heard of it. The next auction is a couple weeks away so that will be a good backup option. I have a question about this. Eight hens, four ducks in Ohio Free

Located in Shelby county ohio. Four white leghorns, four ISA browns, and four peking ducks. All of them will be two years old in february. The chickens are good productive layers, and the ducks are good at doing duck stuff. They all seem to be healthy. Free

White leghorn hen in Shelby County Ohio

I have a white leghorn hen that is getting bullied. She is a little less than a year old, and besides some bumps and bruises from the harassment she is receiving she seems to be in good health. If anyone wants her she is free to a good home. I can deliver if you arent too far away. Thanks!

    Gearheadmb's coop build thread v2.0

So i tried starting my build thread yesterday, but i put it in the wrong place, so i'll give it another go. Ill tell you a little about myself. I grew up on a small farm, but we never had chickens. This will be my first chicken experience. A year ago my wife and i bought an old house and three...

    Gearheadmb's coop build thread

Redsoxs, thanks for the link and advice. The nest box is hanging off the back of the coop, so not eating up the floorspace in the coop. I also plan on a decent sized run, so i hope that will be enough room to keep them happy.

    Gearheadmb's coop build thread

Hey guys, I've been lurking a while here trying to learn the basics and I thought it was time i join and bring down the collective intelligence of the group, er, contribute, i meant to say contribute.
