4males and two females can it ever work? Help

Well I'm happy to report that things have calmed down a bit and the new girls (rouens) are part of the flock. I "think" I figured out the hierarchy and my two black swedish girls are the "main chicks" that run the show... They are divas!!! But they all happily move about together and forage with...

4males and two females can it ever work? Help

So I picked up 3 Rouen females yesterday that are around the same age as my flock. Lots of biting and neck wrestling right now :( I think I may have a home for one male, but as I currently sit I have 4 males and 5 females... If I can rehome one then I'm 3/5 hopefully that can work?

4males and two females can it ever work? Help

I can keep the boys separate. Right now I have been only giving them "pool time" supervised but when the khaki is separated the rest of the flock won't leave the area that he is penned up in. Could I keep two males and two females or will that not work either? This sucks

4males and two females can it ever work? Help

I ordered ducklings back in May (unsexed). I have 2 male indian runners, a male khaki campbell, a male welsh harlequin and two black swedish females. I anticipated that I may get a higher boy to girl ratio and that I would have to get rid of the boys but what I didn't anticipate was how hard it...

Hey fellow Minnesotans with it getting bitterly cold what is everyone doing to keep their feathered friends protected? I have ducks which are not fans of the winter right now that we are having and I'm wondering if I will have to lock them in the coop and throw out a heater or something ? Ideas...

I now have only one duck...what now?

I was thinking more ducks would be good, I just wasn't sure what she would be like until then. I will put a stuffed animal in there tomorrow so she has some company. She followed all over the yard today and my heart broke for her. Thanks for the advice Amiga :)
