    gapeworm?

Okay - thanks you for all of that and for the links as well. I will check her crop first thing in the morning and compare her to the others. I didn't notice any smell when I looked down her throat, so I'm thinking it is not sour. I'll let you know what I find out.

very worried about my sick young hen

Tuesday morning my hen (who is about 16 weeks) didn't want to leave the coop. I let the others out at 7 and she was still in sleeping at 8:30. I petted her and she would cluck at me and sleep. I posted a thread and took her to the vet that afternoon. By the 1:40 appointment she was barely with...

    worried about my chicken

Thanks for your reply. What is the EDC section? I am new to this forum. My chicken is young, too young to lay for at least 2 more months, so I doubt eggbound. I did take her to the vet who did an exam and put her on clavamox in case she had eaten something that gave her an infection. I also have...

Well, Agnes is eating the applesauce and drinking her water on her own, but otherwise much the same, very tired and not walking around. Should I have already seen improvement? I started her on the corid water yesterday afternoon.
