What is the best method to put a chicken out of its misery painlessly and without distress. One of my chickens was injured by a pine martin that grabbed her through a wire fence with apertures of 2" X 3" pulling off a wing and part of a leg and I wanted to put it down quickly. I could not do it...
Pleased to say there seems to be no effects, I am separating their eggs for a few days, but not sure what to do with them.

Help - One of my girls has eaten an antibiotic tablet our cat spat out. The active ingredients are Spiramicina, Metronidazolo, Eccipienti q.b.a. for a 2kg cat. It happened so quickly I am not sure which chicken got it. Any one know what effect it will have or poisonous.
We also have these invisible itch mites and thought we were going mad. We never had them before until the present lot of girls. We are not sure if its ok to use the eggs if you use Ivermectin or any other insecticide and not sure how to apply it.

First I have been concerned about how cold my hen house gets, now I am not (coldest -2deg C or +26 deg F)
Second why do you want to increase egg production I want...
One of my new chickens' poo is soft forming 1" round flattish drops, light brown inside and darker where the air has got to it, it is hard to clean and stick to cleaning utensils. She has always done this and is just starting to lay,Is this any thing to worry about?
Ciao Tutti.
