What is the fabric content, and what are the measurements of the shirts, laying down? (This measurement can be doubled so that the buyer knows what will fit--a trick I picked up from eBay!)

I can't wait to see the little showgirls. I decided on showgirls rather than silkies because although they go broody too, they don't go broody as frequently and they lay more eggs. Plus, they're just so darned cute, right?

I had a chick hatch herself right there in the turner and she was all fluffed and dry, sitting on the turner waiting for me to come home from work.

My turken hen lays a jumbo egg that looks pink next to brown or white eggs. The chicken charts say she's supposed to lay medium brown eggs. Don't tell her!

I bought a $6 hygrometer/thermometer (humidity & temperature) at WalMart. It's the same one selling on eBay for $14 or $15. At that price, it's practically disposable. It works very well.

It actually does take continuous monitoring, and that is why the preset incubators are popular, but just do your best. Even the best of hens isn't perfect, but hatches her eggs anyway. Your hatch will be fine.
