I had a chicken get sour crop or impacted crop.....never identified which just went to work. Big Momma wasted away weight wise pretty fast. We brought her in, put her on yogurt, eggs and her crumbles soaked in water(made sure is was pretty liquidity) and gave her crop a massage everyday about...

Just cleaned her up w a warm shower, rinse her eye w saline and put some neosporin around it. Didn't let her go to the pond but offered a kiddie pool w clean water in it. Oh and I did this three times yestarday. Her eye still looks kinda ...ugh... This morning but the swelling has gone down...
Yes she does roll....in a way......kinda like the chickens when the dust bathe.....and it seems the smellier the better......

We placed him in a separate box w newspaper, kept him wiped down w warm moist wash cloth(to help keep him from getting anything further in his eye) and a lil electrolyte water.....he got a lil worse but by the next morning he was opening his eye more and now it's like nothing happened. Crazy...
My lil man(2 week old Royal Palm) was a lil slow yestarday morning but perked up by afternoon. But now he is keeping one eye closed and it is a lil swollen on the bottom left(right eye). He also keeps rubbin it on his shoulder like it itches. Is there anything we can do for him?
