    Good point! When I bought her I was told she was a barnvelder. As she started maturing she didn't look like a barnvelder to me so I posted pics on here and was told she was actually a welsummer. Tell me what you think from the pic

    Are these two Easter Eggers? They have slate legs but don't have a beard. They are about 25 weeks and still don't have much of a comb or waddle. No eggs from them yet.

    Newbie from Spring, TX

    We currently have 2 barred rock, 2 Americaunas, a barnvelder, a buff Orpington and a lavender Orpington. A bit of variety lol the Barred Rocks are just now starting to get their red combs, so I'm hoping we get our first egg before winter hits and we have to wait to see some real action until Spring.

    Hi all! I've searched this site a lot for info, but am just now getting around to joining. Looking forward to meeting some of you and hope to find other chicken lovers nearby. We currently have a small flock of 7 hens that are about 15 weeks old. Still waiting on our first eggs!
