    Has anybody else ever had a chicken that obsessively eats bag balm or vaseline or any other weird thing like that? Mine would eat a whole can of it if I let him. I now have to make sure that the lid is always on the can

    chickenfan4life, also, I've got a baby roo out in back that is a month older than Mokiki, and he hasn't even attempted to make any kind of sound other than beep, beep, beep. :)

    I originally thought so too! But, he only does it when he can't find me, and it's so exactly like my whistle. We do it back and forth most every day! Sometimes I sleep in til about noon, and he never makes a peep...just plays on the bed sometimes. Just makes the noise when he's looking for me!

    Hi, I am brand new to this forum, and live in Bay City Michigan. I am trying to find a reputable breeder (not hatchery) of the French BCM. I am looking to purchase 4 quality hens. I cannot have a rooster, since I live right in the city. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
