    What is your favorite dust bath mixture?

    I have a dust bath in a tub with sand and ashes so far and they never poo in the dust bath. And when it is in use, there's typically 2 or 3 in it at the same time. They also have a spot outside the coop under my boat which has dust, sand, and asphalt particles in it; all 6 will bath together...

    Do chickens like suet? It looks like in the picture that they must. Is there any certain kind that they prefer? Probably with sunflower and some corn in it?

    For cutting the suet, try heating up a knife and then cutting it...........or more like melting it through.

    Solar Powered Hot Wire

    I have a solar powered electric fence around the yews in the front of my house that deer nearly ruined several years ago. Since using it, they do not get near it.....seems to work very well.
