    Incuview Incubator

Yes! The tray is frustrating! My standard sized eggs just ended up all sorts of directions.. I used it though for my first batch and just didn't worry too much if they were facing the "wrong way" and I had a 100% hatch of my own backyard mutts. For this 2nd hatch I had a mix of shipped and...

    Incuview Incubator

Just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the advice! We had a successful hatch! Very happy I quickly purchased a cheapo hygrometer at Walmart for my hatch because the built in gauge would have been very off if I had followed that.. we hatched 15/15 of the fertile eggs we put in.. we...

    HELP identifying chick breeds!!

I am leaning towards barred rock because of the dark wash on the legs... but I can't remember if my brahmas had that when they were babies too? The rocks def don't anymore, they are yellow legged now as adults.

    HELP identifying chick breeds!!

I hatched a bunch of mutts from our own backyard flock, and I know who most everyone belongs to based on egg color they hatched from - but I am having a hard time telling between the barred rock and brahma eggs... I have these 3 almost identical chicks that hatched from brown eggs, they are...

Genetics question! Blue Partridge Brahma Rooster hybrids

Hi! I am a first year backyard chicken owner.. I have a flock of 12, 1 rooster and 11 hens. My rooster was of course, a mistake lol, but we love him, he's beautiful and gentle (so far), he is my profile picture. He is a blue partridge brahma from a local lady who breeds them. My son named...
