OK, new birds in the freezer...now how do I eat them?!?

if you can't figuire out how to eat them then stop breeding them , this can't be an honest question ?

    plucker

i just looked at the "plucker " for $525.00 are you kidding me ? a half dozen hard rubber bungie cords attached to the inside of a washer basket will clean any bird you can process and cost less than $50.00

Shuffling pens — can 6 week old chicks be separated from the Mama Hen?

Hmmm, let's see , if you bought chicks from a breeder they would have been 1 day old when they left the hen >>>>sorta makes you wish you never asked the question doesn't it ????

    Night time temps/thunderstorms/flu ??

folks lets please get a grip on reality , chicks and chickens are a lot hardier than you might think , they are not babies and far from being incapable of handling the weather without you coddling them , my birds are currently standing in the pasture in a driving rain and show no ill effects ...

    Night time temps/thunderstorms/flu ??

Please these are not babies , throw them outside and close the door , how will they handle cold weather and rain if they are not exposed to it ? Stop coddling them and allow them to grow , chickens are not yuppies and they do not need mommie and daddy to protect them !

Poultry Hollow Hatchery Experience and Poultry Hollow Hatchery Chick "Growth Chart" (PIC HEAVY)

I just have to jump in here because in a perfect world each chick would have room to roam and beautiful sunny days to live out a long happy life free ranging , but in reality these birds are bred for a purpose "food" And to compare conditions from a high volume hatchery to your back yard...
